Using technology in our classroom

  Technology plays an essential role in making learning engaging, interactive, and accessible. In our classroom, I will integrate both traditional and cutting-edge technology to support every student's learning journey. How We'll Use Technology: • Interactive Whiteboards: For hands-on math games, writing activities, and virtual field trips. • Student Devices: Tablets and laptops will be used for research projects, coding basics, and creating digital stories. • Learning Apps: We will use apps like Seesaw for digital portfolios and Kahoot for fun quizzes. • Virtual Reality (VR): Students can "visit" historical sites and explore ecosystems around the world! How I Will Evaluate Technology Use: I will regularly assess whether technology is enhancing student understanding and engagement. My educational philosophy

  In our classroom, every child is seen as a capable, curious, and creative learner. I believe that students learn best through hands-on activities, collaboration, and opportunities to explore their own interests. My philosophy of education is centered around three core ideas: 1. Build Relationships: Strong teacher-student relationships form the foundation for a positive learning environment. 2. Inspire Curiosity: Learning should be exciting, meaningful, and connected to the real world. 3. Foster Growth Mindset: Mistakes are part of learning! I encourage students to embrace challenges and celebrate progress. Example Classroom Activities: • STEM Challenges: Students will work in teams to build bridges, towers, and simple machines, developing problem-solving and teamwork skills. • Reader's Theater: To improve reading fluency and confidence, students will perform short plays based on favorite books.
